Congratulations to the 2026 Scoville-Meno TCGA Scholarship recipients, Isabella Troy, Blaise Brixner, John Gorman, and Alex Bierworth! Thank you to the Scoville-Meno Family of Dealerships for their generosity and support of Junior Golf in the Triple Cities! The TCGA also received additional support from the Night Shift to award 2x more scholarships than expected to these very deserving recipients. Thank you to the Night Shift! Isabella Troy

Blaise Brixner is an accomplished golfer, student leader, and community volunteer from Maine-Endwell, New York. A four-year Student Council President, National Honor Society member, and Head Pantry Coordinator for Key Club, Blaise has dedicated hundreds of hours to serving his community through initiatives such as the MEALS food assistance program, food distribution efforts, elderly outreach projects, church service programs, and local fundraising events. His commitment to service has helped support students and families in need while strengthening his leadership, compassion, and sense of responsibility.
In addition to his community involvement, Blaise has built an impressive competitive golf resumé. A multi-year Varsity Golf Captain and All-Conference selection, he has captured numerous tournament titles, including the Section IV Championship and STAC Championship, while earning recognition as an Elite 7 Golf Team Player of the Year. He holds Maine-Endwell school records for both lowest nine-hole score and lowest season stroke average and has competed successfully in state, regional, and national-level events. Blaise will continue pursuing excellence both on and off the golf course as he advances to the next stage of his academic and athletic career at Le Moyne College.

John Gorman
John Gorman is a 2026 Vestal High School graduate. He played 4 years of competitive golf at Vestal and was named All-Division sophomore and junior year and All-Conference senior year. He would like to thank everyone who made his career what it is: his coaches at Vestal, Nick and Scott Barney and his private coach Matthew Stoughton. He also wants to thank his parents for supporting him and paying for all the costs of his Junior Golf career. He would also like to thank the TCGA for giving him this scholarship. Next year, John will attend the University of Scranton to major in accounting.

Alex Bierworth
Alex is a 2026 graduate of Union-Endicott High School and has been a member of the Union-Endicott Golf team since 7th grade. He is very thankful to all of his coaches, and Coach Matt Morley for inviting him to tryout for the team his 7th grade year. He is also thankful for all of his teammates throughout the years, and family/relatives for always supporting him after every round. He also wants to thank his grandfather for first introducing him to golf.
Additionally, Alex has two Top-10 finishes at the Section 4 Class A championships in 2024 and 2025, including a solo 2nd place finish in 2025 with a score of 1-over par 72. He also finished Top-10 at the Nick Dinunzio Memorial Tournament in 2024. Alex also qualified during the 2024 season for the Section 4 NYSPHSAA State Qualifier tournament held in spring of 2025.
In the fall, Alex will attend SUNY Cortland, where he will be studying Adolescence Education – Chemistry with a Minor in Sports Medicine. He plans to become a Middle/High school science teacher after college. He will also be swimming competitively on their Men’s Division III Swim team. Alex also would like to thank the Scoville-Meno family of Dealerships and the TCGA for selecting him to receive this scholarship, and give a thank you for all the fun he has had playing in TCGA events over the years.
