96th Harding Brooks Insurance Agency TCGA Amateur Championship Final Results

The 96th Harding Brooks Insurance Agency TCGA Amateur Championship has concluded following 54-holes of play in the Senior and Open Divisions.

In the Open Division, Justin Fiato of Ely Park and a recent Le Moyne College graduate won the title by a 5-stroke margin over runner-up Matt Maione of the Links at Hiawatha Landing. Justin finished at a 54-hole total of -1, 213. His victory was propelled by 3 outstanding and consistent rounds of golf this weekend. Justin also won the 2024 TCGA Match Play Championship last season, so this makes two major TCGA tournament victories in a row! Congratulations, Justin!

With this win, Justin is looking forward to teeing it up with his exemption into the 2025 NYS Men’s Amateur Championship at Yahnundasis Golf Club played July 8th-10th. We look forward to see Justin compete and represent the Triple Cities!

In the Senior Division, Adam Schumacher of Shepard Hills finished at a 54-hole total of +21, 235 to give him a 9-stroke margin of victory over second place. Steve Haluska of Endwell Greens finished in second place with a 54-hole total of +30, 244. Congratulations, Adam!

Congratulations to our champions and thank you to all of our participants, host courses and their staffs, WICZ & WBNG for their coverage, our TCGA Volunteers, the New York State Golf Association (NYSGA), and last but certainly not least our title sponsor Harding Brooks Insurance Agency for their generous support for this event. We hope all had a great experience this year and are looking forward to the rest of our 2025 season!

Please note, Pro Shop Credit payouts will be available approximately one week following today’s conclusion of play and able to be used during normal pro shop hours. The amount of credit and course where the credit belongs to is listed on the Golf Genius leaderboard. The Remlik’s Player of the Year Points Race has also been updated with the tournament results.
