4th Annual TCGA Match Play Championship presented by Fairways Indoor Golf Co – Final Results

The 4th Annual TCGA Match Play Championship presented by Fairways Indoor Golf Co has concluded following the 18-hole qualifier and 8-person Match Play bracket.

Please join us in congratulating Luciano Giammarino, our 2026 TCGA Match Play Champion!

Luciano, the 2022 Remlik’s Player of the Year, had a great weekend of golf, starting with an even par 72 in the stroke play qualifier to land the #4 seed. He then went on to defeat 2-time defending match play champion Justin Fiato in the quarterfinal match 6 & 5, 2026 TCGA Amateur Champion Nick Barney on the 2nd hole of a playoff in the semifinals, and 2023 TCGA Match Play Champion Luke Barney 2 Up in the finals. Congratulations, Luc!

Thank you to all of our participants, the Links at Hiawatha Landing and their staff, WICZ for their coverage, our TCGA Volunteers, the New York State Golf Association (NYSGA), and last but certainly not least our presenting sponsor Fairways Indoor Golf Co. for their generous support for this event. 2026 TCGA Sponsors

The TCGA would like to extend their gratitude to our sponsors during the upcoming 2026 season, all of which are renewing and have supported us for multiple years! 

Harding Brooks Insurance Agency will continue their support as our title sponsor for the 6th straight year for the Harding Brooks Insurance Agency 97th TCGA Amateur Championship! This is our flagship tournament of the year, scheduled for June 12th-14th at Chenango Valley state Park Golf Course, the Links at Hiawatha Landing, and Binghamton Country Club.

The Scoville-Meno Family of Dealerships will continue with their 9th straight of support of the TCGA junior golfers! This year we will be awarding two $500 scholarships to high school seniors and will run a 5 event Junior Tour with an additional kick-off clinic and Championship event thanks to the generosity of Scoville-Meno. Additionally, the Night Shift in their first year of sponsorship has donated an additional two $500 scholarships to be awarded to high school seniors.

Remlik’s Grille and Oyster Bar will continue their support of the Remlik’s Player of the Year Race for the 6th year. Eligible TCGA Open Division participants can earn Remlik’s Player of the Year Points by being top finishers in our events throughout the season. The Top-10 in the Remlik’s Player of the Year Standings will earn Remlik’s gift cards amounting to a $1000 total prize purse!

Fairways Indoor Golf will be supporting the TCGA for the 3rd straight year through sponsorship of an elevated TCGA Event, the TCGA Match Play Championship, hosted by the Links at Hiawatha Landing August 7th-9th. This year’s event has been reformatted to be eligible for World Amateur Golf Rankings points. Thank you Fairways for supporting local golf!

3rd Annual TCGA Match Play Championship presented by Fairways Indoor Golf Co – Final Results

The 3rd Annual TCGA Match Play Championship presented by Fairways Indoor Golf Co has concluded following the 18-hole qualifier and 8-person Match Play bracket.

Justin Fiato of Ely Park Golf Course and the reigning Harding Brooks Insurance Agency TCGA Amateur Champion won the Match Play for the second consecutive year by defeating runner-up Nick Barney of the Links at Hiawatha Landing 3 & 2. His victory was propelled by steady golf throughout the weekend, and winning the 11th, 12th, 14th, and 15th holes during the final match. This makes three major TCGA tournament victories in a row for Justin going back to last year’s Match Play. Congratulations, Justin!
