Additionally, Fairways Indoor Golf joins the TCGA as the Match Play Championship sponsor for 2024! • Appointment of Carolyn Mancini to “TCGA Women’s Event Coordinator” board position.

Thank you to our new and renewing sponsors to date: Harding Brooks Insurance Agency, Scoville-Meno Family of Dealerships, Remlik’s, Fairways Indoor Golf and Ad Elements, for your support into the 2024 season. We continue our investment in sponsorship outreach to assist in building funds to help bolster and expand the TCGA’s current and future programming – other businesses interested in sponsoring, please reach out to [email protected] – we would welcome discussion on how our organizations could best partner.
In addition to our Website, our growing Instagram and Twitter pages, along with our Facebook group page (be sure to follow them!) will continue to be used to further distribute content and information, and promote events throughout the season for contestants. 2024 Season schedules are planned to be released next week, with a registration opening date/time of Wednesday, April 3rd at 12:00PM for all Open Division events through the TCGA Match Play Championship presented by Fairways Indoor Golf . Registration for all Open Division first wave events will be online utilizing Golf Genius software.
Thank you to those who completed our 2023 End of Season survey – we welcome feedback and suggestions any contestants or member courses may have as we continue to strive to improve our events and programs for the season ahead. We have made efforts to implement comments that were found to be recurring themes into the 2024 TCGA programming as best as possible. Regarding programming, one note that we would like to make our members aware of – in 2025 and beyond, and in line with other local, regional, state and national golf associations, the TCGA will begin to require GHIN handicaps for all contestants in both individual, team, and championship TCGA events. As the requirement is implemented at the start of next season, the TCGA plans to provide resources for those new to the GHIN system to help ease the signup process/transition.
One last note – the TCGA is always looking for volunteers – if you are interested in helping shape the future of amateur golf in the Triple Cities through involvement on the Board of Directors or more specific volunteer opportunities, please reach out to one of our board members!
We look forward to the continued opportunity to continue to serve our area courses and contestants this upcoming season. See you on the course!
Regards, Kyle Nedlik – 2024 TCGA President
